Juno privacy policy
Juno is an assistant that places phone calls on your behalf. This page says what Juno keeps, why, and how to have it removed.
What Juno keeps
- Your account. Your name and email address, from the Google or Apple account you sign in with. They identify your credits and your calls.
- How to introduce you. The name and title you give Juno for calls ("Mr Carter").
- Your calls. For each call Juno places: the number called, the request, when it started and ended, a transcript, and a recording. Recordings are made so you can hear what was said; Juno tells the other party it is an assistant when asked. It is your responsibility to make sure recording a call is allowed where you and the other party are.
- What earlier calls taught Juno. Short notes drawn from transcripts, such as a restaurant's closing time or a preference you stated, so later calls go better.
- Your profile. Preferences you tell Juno in the chat (party size, a companion, an area), kept on your phone and sent with each call so Juno can act on them.
- The launch list. If you leave your email on Juno's page before launch, it is kept to send you one note when Juno goes live, nothing else. Write to lamine@cheloufi.de to have it removed.
- Purchases. The App Store's receipt for each pack of minutes, to credit your balance once. Juno never sees your payment details.
What stays on your phone
- Your address book. Juno reads it to show your contacts and never uploads it.
- Calls you make yourself over Juno's line are transcribed on your phone by Apple's speech recognition; that transcript is kept on the phone.
- Voice notes you record for Juno.
Who processes it
Juno's server runs on Railway. Calls are carried by Telnyx. The voice and the chat assistant run on OpenAI's models; transcripts and the request are sent to them for the call and are not used to train their models. Place search uses Google Places. Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Each of these sees only what it needs for its part.
Retention and deletion
Calls, transcripts, recordings and notes are kept while you have an account. Write to lamine@cheloufi.de from the email you signed in with to have everything about you deleted; it is done within seven days.

Juno is not for anyone under 18.
